Jake + Emily Engagements

Jake and I go way back! We went to high school together, and he’s one of the sweetest guys I know. We got to know each other really well over the two-hour bus ride in and back from school each morning since we lived clear out in Paradise, Utah and had to get bussed in to Mountain Crest High School in Hyrum. I will always consider him on my list of sweetest friends, and I’m so excited for him and Emily to get married!

These two cutie pies met while swing dancing, which is no surprise to me because everyone knows Jake spends every Saturday night swing dancing at the Cache Valley Fun Park in Logan. Another fun fact about Jake: he is known far and wide for making the best, ultimate campfires. His record is a 100-foot-tall flame! It’s nuts.

We did their engagement pictures on some of their family-owned land out in Paradise, Utah with this beautiful backdrop of summer-infused hills of grass and wildflowers. They are so sweet and in love! Emily is actually from Wyoming and it was a total fluke (or fate!) that they even met at swing dancing the night she was in town. Now that they’re getting married, she’s moved to Logan and is going to start school at USU!

These two will live out in Avon once they’re married by their family’s farm so that Jake can fulfill his dreams of becoming the ultimate cowboy once and for all. So excited for them to start their new life together!
