When these two reached out to me, there was one thing on their hearts, and that was that their engagement pictures and formals were uniquely THEM, and didn’t look like they’d simply been transplanted into the same locations and shots as all the other Utah couples. Luckily, I know of a few spots that can be made to look different than you’ve seen them before!
We spent a few hours talking about and exploring different places to see which locations would be best for them, and ultimately decided on the Spiral Jetty in northern Utah! It’s a bit more obscure than other nearby locations, and it’s absolutely stunning. We loved the symbolism of the never-ending spiral to represent their relationship and their love!
I actually went to high school with both of these two, but they were not interested in each other at all back then. It’s so crazy to think of just the passing years can impact a seemingly simple relationship with a friend from high school! They got reconnected by a mutual friend after high school and just totally hit it off!
