Danele + Samantha Elopement | Bear Lake, Utah Wedding Photographer
These two beautiful ladies have the distinction of being my very first same sex wedding! I’m thrilled it was them. I’m a huge LGBTQ+ advocate and I can’t believe this is the first same sex wedding I’ve shot, but then again I do live in Utah! Both Brachen and I had such a blast with these two and Danele’s son at their beachside elopement in Bear Lake.
Danele and Samantha met online prior to their first date, and as soon as they got together, they knew it was a match made by destiny. Danele is in the army and Samantha is proud to now be a military wife. These two are so gorgeous, and I loved getting to spend time with them at the rented cabin, where they and their families got ready for the wedding. Then we walked down to the beach for a beautiful beachfront elopement ceremony with incredible lake views and mountains. It was such a special, intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family, and I mean, I wouldn’t be opposed to having confetti cannons at all of my shoots! So much fun!
These lovely ladies also had a blast doing a quick trash the dress session in the lake after their ceremony, which was such a blast for me too. Brachen and I had so much fun shooting their wedding we just wanted to hang out forever and ever with them, but, alas, they had a honeymoon to get to, so we left them to it.
