I’ve actually featured Anna + JP here on my blog before, and when they asked me to do a couples session for some updated family photos with their new dog Mowgli, I was so excited to shoot them again!

I have to tell a funny story about these two from way back when I shot their wedding: Let me start out by saying these guys are hilarious. If you know JP, he’s the friendliest guy, as illustrated by his behavior as we were shooting photos with his family and friends outside the Salt Lake City Temple after their sealing. I was snapping away at the large group of friends and family gathered when a few tourists walked by, and not understanding the social dynamics of the group, expressed their interest in being included in the photos. JP eagerly welcomed them into the picture, and we kept shooting. More and more tourists wandered by, and JP kept inviting everyone in! It was hilarious and I could barely contain my laughter as I tried to shoot without making everything blurry. Eventually, I had to ask all the tourists to step out of the shot as they were completely covering all the actual wedding guests!

They are a phenomenal couple and I love spending time with them.
