Kelsea + Seth Engagements | Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge

We did Kelsea + Seth’s engagements at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge in Brigham City, Utah. Seth is an avid duck hunter so this was a very relevant place for the session based on his interests! He’s out there almost every weekend to see the birds so he knew all the best places and took us right to all the good spots for photos. It was really cool for me to go somewhere special to the client. I think it’s really neat when we shoot at a location the client recommends! You can tell how comfortable they are in the photos and it’s special to have that shoot documented in one of their favorite places.

Kelsea and I go way back — we were in the same seventh-grade math class. I moved away in eighth grade and we hadn’t seen each other since, so it was special to be able to reconnect with her! We had such a fun time at this session and I laughed throughout the entire shoot. At one point, they had me laughing so hard that I could hardly click to take a picture!

These two met on Tinder, the truest love story! They’re the sweetest and I can’t wait for them to tie the knot!
