Melanie + Colton Engagements | Mantua, Utah Engagement Photographer
I took Melanie + Colton’s engagement pictures in the beautiful mountains of Mantua, Utah. If you’ve never been to Mantua, it’s this tiny town with a ton of charm in the middle of Sardine Canyon on your way to Cache Valley from Brigham City.
We were lucky enough to catch the poppies in Mantua in the middle of June, which is when they bloom, and also when every other photographer wants to book sessions with their clients. There were TONS of people surrounding us for this entire session, but I’m pretty good at Photoshop, so you wouldn’t even notice how many people were there to witness this cute couple and their sweet pups.
It was so fun to get to know these two! Melanie and Colton met on Mutual, the dating app, and had been dating for a little over a year before they got engaged. They are the sweetest couple. We’re taking their bridals in the Tetons, which is going to be an amazing time with them and I can’t wait to share those photos!
These guys brought their dogs to the photoshoot which was fantastic because I LOVE dogs. I’m the dog whisperer when it comes to getting your dogs to smile for the camera. It was like photographing their entire family together, and not just the couple. Can’t wait for all the adventures these two will get up to!
