Lucy was born really, really quickly! Her mom, Rachel, went into the hospital in the morning to be induced, and little Lucy was born by that night, just before 7:00pm. Rachel pushed just barely five times, and Lucy shot right out.
Lucy was welcomed to this world by her parents, Rachel and Eric, and big brother Peter. She was born at the Logan Regional Hospital, which is where I had Mila, and this was just a few weeks before, so it was super special for me to take this pictures and be thinking of my own adventure that was just a bit ahead. I was so blessed to be part of this special moment with Lucy and her parents; it was such a beautiful birth!
Rachel looked like a super model after giving birth — she looked better than I do most of my good days! She didn’t break a sweat, her hair and make-up were en pointe, and even the doctors and nurses were commenting on how wonderful she looked. It was truly such an honor to be present during this family’s special moments, especially considering how many hours Eric, Lucy’s dad, has put in serving my husband as his interpreter. It’s always a joy working with and spending time with these guys!
